5 Stars: Meticulous Professionalism and Incredible Attention to Detail It is a rare find to have a trade professional in your home for over two months and remain consistently impressed by their work ethic and quality every single day. I cannot recommend McGregor Quality Painting highly enough. From January through March we undertook a massive total-interior refresh of our 3,300 sq. ft. home while wintering in the sunny south. Gord personally and solely was on site for nine weeks of steady, meticulous work; coordinating his painting with other trades for flooring, bathroom remodeling, and complete furnishing redos of three bedrooms, the feature sunroom of the home, and the recreation room. From the very beginning, Gord's professionalism was evident. He handled everything—from the intricate railing on our curved foyer staircase, to the 16 ft high vaulted ceiling with feature beams in the foyer and 12 ft high vaulted ceiling with feature beams in the sunroom, to the recreation room in the basement, to every other room in the home (kitchen, dining, great room, laundry, office, master bedroom, ensuite, bathrooms), to the landing and railing into the garage. Every window shutter, door, trim, ceiling, and wall throughout the entire house was painted—with absolute meticulous precision. Our project required a complete color overhaul, with various colour schemes, and the finish is impeccable. There isn’t a missed spot or a messy edge to be found. What truly stood out was Gord's consistency. For over two months, he maintained a steady pace, kept a clean workspace, and showed up exactly when he said he would. If you are looking for a painter who takes immense pride in their craftsmanship and can handle a large-scale project with total reliability, this is the professional to hire. We needed help with a pretty big job. Remove wallpaper off full main floor, stairway and upstairs hallway, repair and prepare walls, reinstall some new wallpaper and also paint some areas. Gordon did quality work and was a pleasure to deal with - professional, thorough, honest, and respectful of our time and our house. We would recommend him and would hire him again.

In our basement renovation I think we found them all... except two of our contractors. Gord McGregor Quality Painting was one of the two outstanding ones. So how can you ensure it all goes right? Here are the reasons we are so pleased we hired Gord McGregor Quality Painting to do so much finishing for our basement project that has been riddled with issues from the get go, and all stemmed from my decisions in choosing the wrong contractor for the wrong reasons. I can't say enough about how satisfied we were with the paint job Gord did for us. He was professional, on time, did a great job and all for a surprisingly reasonable price! It was refreshing to find a high quality contractor like Gord who is obviously a true professional and takes a lot of pride in his work.
